Important Legal Update – Great News!
At the start of the Coronavirus, our biggest concern was signing important legal and planning documents while still maintaining social distance regulations. We can facilitate digital or virtual signatures on many important documents. Managing Attorney Robert Mannor was appointed Co-Chairperson of a special committee created by the State Bar of Michigan Elder Law Section to address this emergency during the shutdown. He and several other attorneys worked with the Governor, the State Supreme Court, and Legislature to enact an Executive Order and legislation that has, at least temporarily changed this law in a positive way during this difficult time. They are still working on a permanent solution with the Michigan Legislature.
